Bad Mosquito!

Well, we knew that Chase was sensitive to mosquito bites because the ones on his body would stay long and get bigger than normal. However, we had no idea he was this allergic! He got bit right next to his eye and it started as just a big bite. Then he woke up the next morning and he looked like he was really tired with a puffy eye. Then the day care called and it was completely shut. Poor baby. It didn't bother him at all, he was such a good boy. It looked horrible. His friend Kohen has the same reaction so we felt okay with how he looked medically, but wow! After about 2 days of benedryl it finally went down. So needless to say mommy caries benedryl in her purse now and he will get off on him every time he goes outside. This happened right before the freeze. So after the snow and freeze we thought for sure all of the mosquitos were gone, no! He got bit about a week later on the leg, he had a big calf that day! Just so everyone knows, the doctor's office was not concerned and said it was common for people to have these type of reactions! Poor Chase! What a good boy!

Snow in League City

It snowed in League City and it actually stayed for a few hours. Unfortunately the babies had already gone to bed when it changed from a light sleet to snow, but we took lots of pictures of all of the snow. It was wonderful. A white Christmas early in south east Texas! The neighbors brought all of their kids out and had snow ball fights in our front yard, so much fun. Here are some pictures of what the house and yard looked like! What a miracle it seemed like!

Our "Future Silverados" and "Silverado Studs"

The Silverados were having team pictures so Kandy and I thought it would be fun to get all 5 kids together and take a picture. Well, the bottom picture is what you get with 5 kids under 2 1/2 years old! Carolyn is showing off her smile, Charlene is upset, Chase has no idea what is going on, Kamryn has no idea what is going on, and Kohen has a pumpkin from the Halloween decorations on his head! We had shirts made for all of them for the Friday night games. Of couse our 3 only made it to one game, that was enough for Daddy, Gertie, and Cheif! But the shirts are adorable! The girls' shirts say "Future Silverado" and the boys' say "Silverado Stud" (on the back)! Super cute!!!

Our Fall day care pics! They are being mailed out soon (I promise and hope)! Poor Carolyn, not a good angle! She loves little cameras, just not te ones with all the big flashes and everything!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We have been sick all week (well, Chase and Charlene) so we dressed up Thursday and played in the house! Charlene loved her costume. Chase didn't want to put it on, but when he looked in the mirror he loved it. Carolyn had a hard time fitting in hers so she got upset. Once it was on she was okay as long as the head wasn't on. We are going to keep them around the house for a while to play in!

Our New Tent!!

Randall found this tent at Academy for $17 and couldn't pass it up! He set it up one Friday while I was at a football game and they loved it. He said they played in it all afternoon until they went to bed. It pretty much covers our living room so we had to put it up, but I think it will be the football game toy to help time pass for Daddy by himself with all 3!

Ketchup...Is Mom Crazy?!!

So they were having hot dogs and french fries. I thought it sounded good so I put some ketchup on their plates (just a dab). Luckily it didn't back fire and end up all over them and the walls. They tasted it a little, but it didn't really do anything for them. Just sounded like a fun thing to do!

A trip to the pumpkin patch!

Rebecca, Kelley, and I took our families to the pumpkin patch for pictures last weekend. We got some good pics, but getting 6 kids to take a picture at one time was a little crazy!

The girls were showing off their new bo bo's so Chase wanted in some of the camera action also! So here are some scuffed up noses and cute little Chase!

Watching TV before bath time!

We were just hanging out watching tv in between dinner and bath and they just all sat down on the pillos, it was so cute. So of course everytime I took the camera out Charlene had to get up. This is one out of about 5 that I took before I gave up. Then I found some editing software on my computer and was able to write on to the pic! Pretty cool!

We have power, but lots of people don't still!

Well, we came home Tuesday so Randall could start back to work, Gertie, Cheif, Grandmother, Hawk, Lisa, and Dylan still did not have power (
). So Gertie, Cheif, Lisa, and Dylan stayed at our house. Everyone was very off schedule and out of wacks. This is one pick of everyone wanting Daddy at the same time and the other pic is Chase playing with his new Tonka truck! Chase loves this new truck! Sunday afternoon my parents finally got power back so we will try to go back to day care tomorrow and try to get back in to some type of schedule. Randall is working 12-13 hour days to try to keep on schedule and I don't really go back to work until Friday the 26th (wow) except we have a football game then so the drill team has to be prepared so we will be having practice this week!

After Ike and no power!

So it has been a full day since Ike visited us and it keeps getting hotter and hotter! So their cousin Reed spent Saturday night with us so this is everyone having milk or breakfast Sunday morning. It was so hot we stripped all the babies to their diapers to try to help them keep comfortable. Well it got so humid the floors were getting wet and the babies were slipping on the tile so we decided to take a trip to Granny and Paw Paw's in Ennis! So the clothed pics are in Ennis! We had a great time. The babies played and they had a/c and they saw their aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great grandparents. We were so grateful to be able to take them there! (Of course a little after we got to Ennis our power came back on in League City, but we still had a great visit!)

Before Ike Arrived!

This is us helping daddy get ready for the hurricane! We played around and went swinging! Then we went inside and you could tell how hot and sweaty the babies were, but they had fun!

Kandiland Update

Day care is getting much better! They are still sad off and on, but Chase and Charlene are also a little under the weather so that doesn't help! Carolyn was being very protective of her brother and sister today and did not want the teachers picking them up or messing with them, they said it was very cute! Tomorrow is Friday so hopefully they end with a good bang!

First day at Kandiland!

On the way to Kandiland Monday morning!

After we got home from Kandiland Monday afternoon!
They were drained! Michele said their first day wasn't bad. Carolyn fussed off and on all day, Chase too, but not as bad and Charlene made friends with the teachers and sat in all of their laps! She didn't cry at all! So because of the storm we missed Tuesday so we are off to try another day tomorrow! Wish us luck!

A week at the beach!

We rented a beach house in Galveston last week and had a blast! They all loved the sand. Chase was a silly boy and dumped sand on top of his head, Carolyn picked up digging with a shovel super fast and Charlene liked to test her balance by walking in the holes that were dug for putting sand in Chase's bucket! It was great! We went every morning for a couple of hours and then we went back in the evening when it was starting to cool down! The rest of the time we relaxed at the house and enjoyed being in a different setting! Here are some pictures from the week!
