Trying to take Christmas pictures!

This is from last weekend when we tried to take pictures of the kids for our Christmas cards! It was very interesting. These are pretty cute, but not what is on the card!

We took the kids to the Friendswood Christmas Parade! Wasn't the most exciting, but they got in to it!

Happy Halloween!

This was our kids, Reed, Dylan, Jake, Ben, Katie, Lisa, and Michele before trick or treating. My parents and Hawk had come over to trick or treat the kids and Michele's family was at Rebecca's house so they came over to show off their costumes. It was beautiful weather and turned out to be a lot of fun! The kids folled Dylan and Molly all around the neighborhood. Carolyn and Reed rode in the wagon from house to house while Randall pulled them and the others walked, taking a break from time to time. They all ran up to the door and yelled trick or treat! Charlene would try to eat something after every stop (every stop)!! I can't imagine what it will be like next year!

Air Show

We took the kids to the air show on Saturday morning before Halloween night. I think they really enjoyed it. They saw all of the jets and helicopters, it was really neat to see their reaction. What wasn't neat was the amount of people taking pictures of us with our stroller. It was really silly. I realize the stroller is different looking, but do you want random strangers taking pictures of your kids at an air show. It is not like we are getting paid millions of dollars to have people take pictures of us. If that were the case, shoot away (not really). Anyway, just really annoying! But, the kids had a great time and so did we!

Carolyn's first day at dance!

All three of the kids were in tumble bus at Kandiland. Well, when we switched daycares and started tumble bus back up, Carolyn did not like going really at all any more. So I asked her if she wanted to take dance? She got so excited! Then I asked Charlene and she said she wanted to stay in tumble bus. And I would have given Chase the option too, but he was already saying, "No, I stay in tumble bus, Carolyn goes to dance." So no bother in asking him, I am sure that made Randall happy :)! The pictures are a little blurry, they were taken on Rebecca's camera phone! But you can tell she is so happy!

Paw Paw's Tractor

Just playing on our own!

Just a cute video. They don't even notice we are filming and look how good they are. You all know that is a once in a life time moment. They are NEVER that quiet and good all the time!

Counting to 10!

This was a while back, they are counting a little better now!

Charlene's ABCD's

Here is Charlene saying her ABCD's! This is the best she has ever done, must have been showing off for the camera!

The video of Carolyn is too long. She got so distracted from Chase and Charlene talking and her dinner right in front of her that she really doesn't say much. I will have to get a better one of her!

Chase's ABCD's!

I don't have one yet of him singing really fast, but this is him just singing them. He kind of loses focus for a few minutes, but catches right back up where he left off! His voice is just too darn cute!

Chase-isms!

So Chase is our big talker! Randall told him to go to the potty the other night after dinner. Chase replies, "No sir daddy, no sir. I don't need to go potty!" Genius!

Last night Carolyn was being a typical little sister (I should know!) and bugging Chase. So he tells me, "Carolyn is being rude!"

Yale, Harvard...where are you? He is so stinking smart! Randall and I constantly look at each other and just wonder where he gets all of his language! It is great for the girls because they try to say everything he does!

The daycare said he says what is on the next page of the book before they get there! They can't believe his memory!

More to come!

Talking Away!

I keep trying to get good videos on the blog, but they take forever to upload. So, everyone says their ABC's (ABCD's), but Chase can say them super fast!!! His voice gets really deep and he balls his hand up in to a fist and shakes it really fast to help him sing so fast! It is hilarious! Carolyn is still being the mother hen and Charlene is starting to just say whatever everyone else is saying! I promise to have some videos soon!

Zero accidents!

So, just a potty training update! On Sunday we had zero potty accidents all day! It was wonderful! We even went to the grocery store in undies for about an hour or so and had no accidents! I am so proud of them! They are starting to ask to go...so cute! I have some pics and video to come soon, not of potty training, don't worry :)!

SPAGEHTTI!!

Carolyn had it all over...even on her ears!
Charlene (as you can tell) had it down her shirt!

And then there is "Clean" Chase! He has become a very picky eater so he only ate the pasta! He does not know what he is missing!

Potty Training News!

The kids are really catching on to potty training! Thank goodness! Chase yesterday started asking to go to the bathroom (I thought for sure he wasn't going to go every time), every time he asked to go (#1 or #2) he went exactly what he said he needed to do!

Charlene still goes 50 times a day on her own, but only actually goes about 15 of those, but no accidents! I think she just loves the attention and having something to do on her own!

Carolyn is a little slower at it, still having a few accidents. I think she is just so busy trying to take care of every one else that she doesn't pay attention. She is constantly watching what is going on EVERYWHERE! But, I am sure she will catch on soon too!

Funny story!

Chase woke up early the other morning (about 5:30 and they don't get up right now until about 6:30) and he was crying, obviously too early! Well after a few seconds of him whining you hear Carolyn say,"Shhhsh Chase!" He stopped crying and every one went back to sleep! It was hilarious! Randall and I both started cracking up!

Still working on the potty training, but doing much better! They did not have any accidents at school yesterday, but they also aren't just going because they feel they need to. They are going because you tell them to, so we will see!

Potty training update!

Well, it is day 4! I feel like things have really gotten better and much less stressful! We are definitely still having accidents at daycare and at home, but I am talking 1-2 (maybe 3) a day! The big story for tonight is this:

Before dinner we all went to sit down and potty, but everyone had just gone but Carolyn so nobody went, even Carolyn. So during dinner we were kind of nervous she would have an accident, but at the end in the middle of taking a bite, she kind of jumped and said "UP" So her daddy ran her to the potty! Not only #1 but she did a wonderful #2!!!!!! You all know these weird celebrations! I think that is a HUGE sign!

They are all doing great! Chase will go almost every time he sits down on the potty and he is so proud of himself! Charlene loves to just go and sit on the potty! That makes her proud!

Hot Summer Days!

Things get real creative as the summer goes on! You can't really tell, but they are just in undies! This was last weekend and we wore nothing but undies all weekend! In the beginning of the summer we just had their little slide in the pool, we have now graduated to a bigger level!

Kemah with Granny and Pa Pa

We went to Kemah last Saturday with Granny and Pa Pa and the kids just loved it! We rode the Choo Choo train and then ate at Babins. They loved looking at all of the other rides, but did not want to ride them (although Chase might have rode the Carousel if we had tried, he loves horses). Then we took a walk on the Boardwalk and watched all the boats go by. There is one spot on the Boardwalk with ducks and food to feed the fish. They loved that because when you fed the fish about 200 (not exaggerating) came up to the surface. It was so neat to watch! Thank you Granny and Pa Pa! We had a great time!
