Bad Mosquito!

Well, we knew that Chase was sensitive to mosquito bites because the ones on his body would stay long and get bigger than normal. However, we had no idea he was this allergic! He got bit right next to his eye and it started as just a big bite. Then he woke up the next morning and he looked like he was really tired with a puffy eye. Then the day care called and it was completely shut. Poor baby. It didn't bother him at all, he was such a good boy. It looked horrible. His friend Kohen has the same reaction so we felt okay with how he looked medically, but wow! After about 2 days of benedryl it finally went down. So needless to say mommy caries benedryl in her purse now and he will get off on him every time he goes outside. This happened right before the freeze. So after the snow and freeze we thought for sure all of the mosquitos were gone, no! He got bit about a week later on the leg, he had a big calf that day! Just so everyone knows, the doctor's office was not concerned and said it was common for people to have these type of reactions! Poor Chase! What a good boy!

Snow in League City

It snowed in League City and it actually stayed for a few hours. Unfortunately the babies had already gone to bed when it changed from a light sleet to snow, but we took lots of pictures of all of the snow. It was wonderful. A white Christmas early in south east Texas! The neighbors brought all of their kids out and had snow ball fights in our front yard, so much fun. Here are some pictures of what the house and yard looked like! What a miracle it seemed like!
